About

I grew up in Montréal, Québec, where I completed my university degree at McGill. In 1982, I relocated to Vancouver - drawn to the lifestyle and wilderness of the West Coast.

By working in a topnotch black and white lab, processing and printing with some of the city's best, I learned the fundamentals of photography.

I began freelancing in 1990 specializing in portrait and documentary photography, and have since expanded into travel and architecture.

In 2011/12, I took the Documentary Film program at Capilano University. The opportunity to tell stories through moving images and people's own voice is a new challenge that I feel very inspired by.
